DAY  1   THURSDAY	Arrival at Athens airport. Transfer to the Hotel in the center of Athens. Welcome drink. Visit the Benaki museum. (opens Thursdays late until midnight) Overnight stay in Athens.
DAY  2   FRIDAY	Walking & metro city tour of Athens Visit to the Acropolis and its monuments & afternoon visit to the ancient Agora. Leisure walk around the Plaka and Monastiraki/Flea market Roman Agora & Tower of the Winds    .     Overnight stay in Athens
DAY  3   SATURDAY	Visit to the Temple of Zeus, the Olympic stadium where the first Olympics were held in 1896  Walk through Zappion and the National Gardens to the Presidential Palace. Spend the afternoon in the National archaelogical museum Included:  Dinner/wine in the Plaka taverna, Athens old quarters. Overnight stay in Athens
DAY  4   SUNDAY	Morning at 10.30 changing of the guards/ Evzons with the colorful costumes & band !! at Syntagma  square. Visit of the Cycladic and Byzantine  museum and walk up to Lycabetus hill for overall Athens view. See St. George's chapel at the top of the hill. Go by train/metro to the new Olympic stadium 2004 to take photos. Overnight stay in Athens
DAY  5   MONDAY	Walk to Athinas street and visit food and vegetable market. Morning visit to the Theater of Dionysus & Sanctuary of Asculapious at the foot of the Acrpopolis. Walk to Philopapus Hill and the Pnyx and see Socrates prison and Byzantine church of St.Demetrius.     Departure - transfer.
